Easter time!

So a few different pictures here that I've collected over the past week or so. First is of Gage with the new pool/sandbox I got him. I figured I could make it a pool in the summer and a sandbox when it gets cool outside. He loves it and I literally am shocked he hasn't learned the word water yet cause he loves it! Whether its the dogs water bowl or the gutter run off- if it's wet, he'll play in it! The next picture was our family home evening lesson on faith and Gage got to plant a few seeds to show how faith grows. It kinda went well but I don't think Gage understood much beyond the fact that we were letting him play in dirt.

I also posted his easter pictures which I had to take the day after easter since it rained a ton here on Sunday. The nice thing was that all the candy and eggs and stuff were half off. So for future reference, Gage will continue to think that Easter is the Monday after the third Sunday :)

The last picture is of my poor little girl Tipsy. We took her to get fixed a couple of weeks ago and you've never seen such a miserable dog. The worst is that a month previous a male dog made it into our yard while she was in heat and she started getting fatter and more tired but I thought she was just growing up and adjusting to being in heat the first time. Turns out we're pretty sure she was pregnant. I asked the gal when I picked her up from being fixed if she had been pregnant but the nurse wasn't there when the surgery was done so she couldn't tell me. The sad thing is that I teared up at the thought that I had taken motherhood away from her and she would have made such a good mom. Oh well. There are so many puppies in the world that need homes so I feel that it was the right thing to have happened. But I can still feel sorry for her. Luckily she's making a great recovery and is back to the same energetic, free loving puppy I'm used to. She's such a good dog and such a blessing for Gage. I took a video of Gage and Tipsy trying to catch a fly in the house and it made me so gald that he has someone to hang out with. He's a dog guy through and through.

A visit from Family!

Kaiann (Cody's sister) and her husband Kevin came for a visit with their three kids a few weeks ago and we all had such a blast together! Cody had a lot of school work he had to do but we still found time to hang out and have tons of fun. Gage loved playing with Alexis, Colin and Mercedes and especially taking baths with Mercedes. She was always trying to give him drinks out of his bathtub cup. We even found time to do some running, which I haven't done in two years (thank you Gage). Anyway, it was awesome and I was so sad to see them go. I wish we didn't live so far apart!

Trip to Cali!

These pictures are from my trip home to welcome back my sister Laura from a mission in Korea. It was so much fun and I enjoyed being with my sisters so much! Especially being able to stay up with Laura every night just talking about whatever. I had the time of my life! Unfornutatley my camera was in my Dad's car for the majority of the trip so I didn't get to take pictures of Gage's first trip to Disneyland. All in all the whole trip was a blast and I know Gage loved being able to play with his cousins. Carson and Adam were especially fun for him to play with since they're around his age. Little Luke just needs to grow up fast to join the party.
