Well I know that I just did a Cali wrap up post below but both kids are asleep and I think this will be the only time I can post this. Cody and I were in Utah and Idaho this last week and we had a blast. We started the week at my sisters place in Salt Lake and had a great visit with her... Other than Gage flushing a ball down the toilet that resulted in a 5 hour project to take the toilet apart and get the ball out. It took forever. Good thing Cody's such a trooper and only had one angry outburst when the toilet wouldn't go back in. Gage loved Rosy and Noelle was absolutely taken with her new cousin. Regan got a bunch of pictures of them together so we should all harass her to post them. We then headed to Logan to see Cody's sister Kaiann and her new baby Elliana who entered the world the same day as Asher. They weighed the same for a while but we all agreed that Asher was now pulling ahead. After Kaiann and Kevin's we went to Cody's parents place to meet two more summer born cousins. Such a cute little set of babies with one more coming in November. Kaylee's baby shower was the main reason we were going up there and the shower was a typical Brower shindig of fun. We never did get a chance to ride the horses with all the company and also having a new baby. I'm super bummed about it but maybe we'll find some time when we go for Thanksgiving. To end the trip we headed to my college friend Rachel's house who, yep you guessed it, had just had a summer baby! Her little girl Cambria is so sweet and just the snuggliest newborn. At just 2 weeks old she sure was sleeping a lot. I also got to see my other college roommate Alisha while we were there which was a real treat since it's been so long. We decided a month or so back to get Rachel's dog Machida while we were up there. They had the two dogs and decided that because they fought so much she'd get rid of the little one. Plus she didn't have a backyard space she wanted to put them in so he gets a lot more room to run around and be a dog. He did a great job riding home in the car and Tipsy is thrilled to have a playmate. He had a partial castration when we got him and after a surgery at the vet he's as good as new and now neutered (a requirement of Aurora for the discounted registration). You all may think I'm crazy for taking on another dog but really this makes it easier. I'll still just take Tipsy on walks and the dog park till I feel good about Machida and Tipsy will be less emotionally needy with him around. Plus he's already trained to stay off the carpet so I won't even have work on that with him. Strangely enough Cody loves the dog and says that he finally get's to get his guy dog. Apparently Tipsy wasn't cool enough for him. Anyway, were all getting settled after a long trip and many travels. The one good thing about the trip was that we forgot the pack and play for Gage so he learned how to sleep on a bed during the trip and is continuing to do it at home. Pretty dang awesome.
