An update of grand proportions

Finally I found my usb cable to transfer pictures to the computer. So I'm going to have kind of a random collection of pictures for this update. Well first off the horses are doing great. They only knock down and completely destroy the fence every other day. Such brats! There is a picture below of me and Cody trying to teach them how to be led and as you can tell it is harder than it looks. The one draft filly Coco took right to it and gave us false hope that the other would too. But true to Pokie's nature (both the real horse and my childhood imaginary friend) she was far too rebelous to put up with such behavior. Cody would pull, and she would pull harder, setting her feet wide apart to get the most resistance possible. So Cody would pull a little harder which would usually make her go crazy fighting and more often than not result in her lying on the floor after falling. Silly thing! By the end of a couple of days she almost looks willing and she allows herself to be led but you can tell that she's such a proud animal that she's only biding her time till she can out smart us dumb humans.

In other news I'm an Aunt again. My brother and sister in law Jyl and Landen had there little boy yesterday. Jyl is native american so they went with the cool name of Locotah (pronounced La-ko-ta) and he was the sweetest littlest thing you've ever seen. What a doll! So congrats to them and I hope he's not too much trouble. Also pictues is Cody with Crymzon out other nephew who was born a couple of months ago. He is turning out to be such a little cutie!

These last two pictures are random but highlight some adventures that me and Cody have gone on. The one with me in the back of the red van is on the way back from my grandma's funeral in Arizona. Cody and I wanted to save money and have a camp out so instead of a hotel we put the seats down in my sisters car and blew an air mattress up in it. Other than it getting pretty cold at night the sleepover was great and probably something that's not going to happen when the kids start coming so that was fun. The other picture of me on the truck is all the alf alfa that Cody and I bought for the horses. I just wanted to show my Dad the the truck is getting some great use. It's pretty much in it's element up here.

Oh Annie,Annie,Annie. Ever the adventurer. First of all, dad should have given you money to stay somewhere since you and Cody so kindly offered to drive the car back to Utah.
Secondly, I love the video of Pokie running and bucking and could actually envision her running into the fence!
Love you my darling girl.
